The DMR-6X2 went through extensive development, for over 2 years, before its public debut. It was not worth rushing a radio if it couldn't be our best.

BTECH DMR-6X2 Digital (DMR) & Analog Two-Way Radio (with GPS and Recording)
Dual Band VHF (136-174MHz) & UHF (400-480MHz)
The BTECH DMR-6X2 is the most versatile dual-band DMR radio available. Designed for both amateur and commercial usage with its large, bright 1.77" color TFT display. The DMR-6X2 can store 4,000 Channels with 10,000 Talk Groups and 200,000 Contacts.
The frequency range is 136-174MHz and 400-480 MHz. The DMR-6X2 has a maximum output of 7W on VHF, and 6W on UHF. The DMR-6X2 includes a built in GPS and audio recorder.
The DMR-6X2 is a true dual slot DMR radio compatible with DMR Tier I & 2.

DMR Digital Store & Forward RepeaterThe DMR-6X2 has a built in recording chip which is utilized in the Store and Forward Repeater Mode (Not compatible in Analog mode) Once toggled the DMR-6X2 will store and forward conversations on the same band or even as a cross band repeater. It records the incoming audio and once the signal drops - it will forward the audio to the assigned frequency (and vice versa). The DMR-6X2 will even allow you to store and forward on the same frequency. The Store and Forward repeater can be assigned as a side key function from programming software. It is compatible with: VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF, VHF/UHF, and UHF/VHF. | Adjustable Scanning FeaturesThe DMR-6X2 allows you to be in full control of your channel scanning lists.
